In the Moscow House of Photography (Mumma, Ostozhenka, 16) this week opened an exhibition of the Fund GoodPlanet «on forests and the people» («Des Forets et des Hommes»). Fund, established and chaired by Yannom Arthus-Bertrand (Yann Arthus-Bertrand), tends to attract attention and interest of the environment and society in general. 40 photos at the photo exhibition celebrate the International Year of Forests in the 70 photographs.

Combining the scope of emotions and knowledge, the exhibition "On forests and people" offering to the public the most beautiful photos of forests around the world. From fear to the decisions of international politics to local initiatives, pictures and texts to it illustrate a set of forest issues, divided into six main themes: "to explore the forest," "live in the forest," "forest in space and time" " forest in the service of life, "" plowed Planet "and" the future of forests ».
Each of the 40 talented photographers, volunteers sought to perpetuate the nature and beauty of the woods from all over the Earth. Exhibition "On forests and People "fund GoodPlanet launched in Geneva (May 14 to August 14, 2011, the bridge Pont de la Machine SIG), then was shown in Paris from June 25 to July 24, 2011 and in Desize (Decize) in the department of Nièvre from July 1 to October 9, 2011.
Exposition "On forests and people" is part of an international campaign fund GoodPlanet with the same name, which also includes the official film of the International Year of Forests, shot Yannom Arthus-Bertrand and educational booths for all schools in the world and an illustrated book for a wide range of readers in 23 languages.
