Despite the fact that the artist is engaged in industrial graphics, it is a lot of time to figure technique and culture lines.

Such seemingly technical matter, as the design of the book, Alexander Kuz'kin came with an amazing imagination. He invented the subject, not just decorate it. That is not engaged in design books, and its design. In a sense, he was one of the founders of the mail-art in Russia. Combining this type of modern art and book design, Alexander has created a draft edition of Goethe's "Sorrows of Young Werther." Certain parts of the book shown at the exhibition represent the letters that the reader was supposed to receive in the mail within a certain time.
second well-known book-object Kuz'kina - "Requiem" by Anna Akhmatova. It consists of a series of lithographs of poetry in the style of Chinese codes. Alexander Kuz'kin created this project for the International Exhibition of art books in Germany in 1982, when the "Requiem" was still a little gap in literature and not published in full. The exhibition shows a layout of the book, restored the master's son, Andrew Kuzkin, a famous contemporary artist, winner of the award "Innovation" in 2009.
The exhibition will also present posters Kuz'kina. With a dramaturgical instinct, he managed to become a talented poster. His graphic language in this genre was new and completely individual.
Featured in the exhibition later work Kuz'kina different embodiment of abstract and bold creative idea. Such art in the early eighties was still a provocative and isolated artists who experimented freely, without self-censorship is a creative range.
Identity and Universalism Alexander Kuz'kina will not fit it into the framework of a single direction. In the works of the artist is the point of contact with minimalism, conceptualism, abstract, we can compare him with the context of Western modernist trends in art of the twentieth century and makes the original representative of the domestic non-conformism.
Kuz'kin Alexander died from a severe illness heart in 1983 at age 33. He knew that he would not live a long life, but it did not stop him from boldly go forward on their own creative way, to experiment, to try myself in different areas, to take risks. Therefore, what Alexander had done during his short life, never ceases to surprise so far.
