Tomorrow, April 28, in a renovated part of the Arsenal building in Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin to open an exhibition "Blizzard", dedicated to winter as an artistic metaphor of Russian life. Participants of the exhibition - one of the most famous contemporary Russian artists - represent their views on the blizzard country, "the snows of which are mixed mental and social motives.

Art works combined into a coherent visual history of the common link - snow - form in the exhibition hall common space of winter, hiding under the name of the formal landscape special Russian context: the natural, historical and socio-cultural environment, which inevitably have to act for a person living in Russia. On the background of the reality of today - a faceless white and cold blizzards - the landscape turns into a utopia - the territory of the metaphysical conflicts, deprived of direct topical allusions.
