Today, 16 December at the Gallery of Arts Zurab Tsereteli (Prechistenka, 19) opens the exhibition "Art to heal and to collect art." The exhibition includes paintings, drawings and sculptures of nonconformist artists from the collections of Michael Alshibaya, David Ioseliani and Mark Kurtzer.

Three well-known Moscow doctor present at the exhibition of more than 100 works by artists of the sixties Zvereva , B. Veisberg , D. Krasnopevtseva , O. Rabin , E. Rukhin , B. Pyatnitskiy , B. Nemukhin , Sveshnikova , A. Kharitonov , Yakovleva and others.

According to Michael Alshibaya, medicine and art brings together the main thing - focus on the person, in other words - humanitarian focus. " Russian history of collecting art is replete with examples of beautiful collections formed specifically by physicians. AL Myasnikov, NN Blokhin, VI Burakovsky, A. J. Abrahamian, A. Vishnevsky, S. Mikhail Alshibaya, David Ioseliani and Mark Kurtzer continue this wonderful tradition, moreover, all three are passionate about the period 1960-80's, often referred to now of the Second Russian Avant-Garde. And although each of the collectors of his collection of forms according to their own tastes and preferences, today they have teamed up to show the public the most interesting, the best of their collections. Some works will be exhibited for the first time.

DG Ioseliani - chief cardiologist at the Health Department of Moscow. David G. has taken over from his mentor, the famous surgeon VI Burakovsky, not only high professionalism but also a deep interest in art and collecting, to communicate with the artists. Ioseliani many years a friend of painter Anatoly Zverev. For life, he maintained cordial affection and sincere admiration for this man and his work. The core of his collection are works Zvereva, among them gorgeous self-portraits and portraits, landscapes and still lifes.
