The artist brought to Moscow sculptures, allowing a new face to reveal his talent: Abstract#7 (2008), Abstract#19 (2009), The Shrine of Luxury and Pride (2009), Night (2010) - as well as the work of Series Folded Photographs.

Master of revelations Jack Pearson is one of the most talented and popular artists of our time. Since the first solo exhibition in 1990, Jack Pierson has worked with many graphic means, including photography, drawing, painting, installation and sculpture. And though they brought him the most popular wall-mounted volume collages, photo takes in his work a special place.

Pearson has always fought for liberation, emancipation of photography as a genre: the frames and layers of glass hide and emotionally detach itself work from the viewer, making it heavy and bulky objects. Therefore, the pictures presented in the exhibition, Jack Pierson hangs directly on the wall, ignoring the security concerns and effectively bringing together the viewer and artwork. Each work is printed on photographic paper and folded like a regular poster, it becomes portable.

The outer side of his art - a phrase made up of rusty letters that were once advertising signs and names in the search for which it literally look through everything all over America and Europe. Sam Jack Pierson said that his works reflect the things of life, love, sorrow, anguish and death.

Songs Jack Pearson are sculptures of memory. Each of the letter bears the closest relationship with a certain time and space, has given functionality. Combining them into one sculpture, Jack Pierson concentrates and makes the totality of their senses to work to achieve given them purpose. Simultaneously, he returns them to the pristine purity, free from the past and gives new life, focusing on the relationship between colors and shapes that "play" on the idea, revealing its new angle. So, Sin sculpture from metal, glass and neon lights, presented at the exhibition, done in bright, flashy colors - yellow and red. But even through they exude external chips and rust, mixed with an internal sense of longing and emptiness.

Jack Pierson was born in 1960 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA. In 1984 he graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. Lives and works in New York and Southern California. The first exhibition was held in 1990 at Simon Watson (New York, USA), followed by numerous solo and group: Cheim & Read (New York), Whitney Museum of American Art (New York, USA), Irish Museum of Modern Art (Dublin, Ireland). Pearson works are in museum and private collections: the Guggenheim Museum (New York), Metropolitan Museum (New York), Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, FRAC (Corsica, France) and others.

The exhibition runs until January 15, 2011.
