Today at State Museum of Contemporary Art of the Russian Academy of Arts (Gogol Boulevard, 10) opens an exhibition of Konstantin Khudyakov "The Art of High Definition».

On the one hand, this exposure may be called retrospective, because it fully paid tribute to the former well-known project of Konstantin Khudyakov, on the other side - something new that is displayed in the exhibition, allows us to speak of it as a project unprecedented and unique. Those terms, however, apply to the art Khudyakova in general.

method is uncompromisingly modern artist: for fifteen years Khudyakov focuses on the most thoughtful and detailed exploration of digital technologies and communications as a unique and versatile tool, well suited for solving urgent problems of creativity. What is this problem? In general, they can be described as an attempt to create a new mythology. Mythology, civilization and the collapse of the old generation new synthesis of biological and technological principles, comparing the extent of macro-and microcosm, a rethinking of the metaphysical space and fill it. These and other aspects of creativity Khudyakova represented in the exhibition, organized with the support of prominent collectors, artists and other artist Viktor Bondarenko.

in the exhibition - one of the most ambitious projects Khudyakov, "Deisis" previously presented at the Tretyakov Gallery, and now a special supplement a number of new products. Also shows one of the most recent projects the artist - "Apocalypse. Angel arrived. In parallel with the interpreted in this way the viewer sees the religious art works from the series "Basic Instinct", which is considered erotic stratum of human existence. The exhibition also displays large-format digital landscapes Khudyakov, the world's first interactive paintings, created in conjunction with Perm programmers ("multi-art", as the positions of the author himself), 3D experiments with stereo-light panels, a few video installations, including multiscreen video installation "Red Square", as well as some fragments of the huge project Hotel Russia.

The exhibition is a book, which will be launched at the opening ceremony.

Exhibition at the State Museum of Contemporary Art of Arts (Gogol Boulevard, 10) is open from October 5 to November 7, 2010.
