Project Irene Winter Silencio consists of two complementary parts: a black and white photographs and graphic works

Today, 24 September, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art begins a project by Irina Winter Silencio. It consists of two complementary parts: a black-and-white photographs and graphic works. The title of this exhibition at the same time tells a story, describes the state and sensitively indicates the viewer on how perception works. It is certainly not a whisper in the halls, but on almost tyutchevskom: "Shut up, hide and Thai /feelings and your dreams <...> only live in himself to know how to - //there is a whole world in your soul //mystery-magic thoughts ... "The artist demands little from us: to remain in silence, and breaking away from the din of everyday life, to experience a rare moment of revelation to himself, when a secret, hidden, silences" day "mind suddenly finds a way and embodiment.

Winter works with photography, with the author's technique allows it seemed to strengthen the mystical side of reality. Familiar outlines of objects blurred eye can not identify anything specific, and each of the images as if Winter tends to universality, the symbolic pre-image, leaving the viewer alone with the essential, eternal, not fleeting. It is easily ready to accept the revealed images, freeing them from the mass of impressions and experiences. And it concerns not only the content of the work, but purely technical - thanks to its unique technology, they can be spontaneous, absolutely free, join the energy of natural materials and certain inland streams, achieving instant hit, capturing a particular image in the viewer's heart.

For Irene Winter photography is not a way to fix reality, and the art of remembering, detection hidden. "Photography - this is not about memory, it's about discovery and learning at the same time" - once said Sarah Moon, and Winter, just as passionate about the manifestation of the intimate, it overcomes the very nature of photography. Properties of its individual "optics" - a very sensual, feminine - let show pure emotion, impulse, desire, so obviously we are dealing with allegories, when specific points on the general and timeless. Literary comparisons are not accidental: the work of Irina Winter elude analysis, desperately resisting the inclusion of some system or chronology, but it can be easily described in poetic terms, there is a place where "fantasies and imaginary", "wisdom" and candor, sensuality and stealth - the one that is available to man.
