Submitted about 30 works of Moscow artist Ksenia Fominykh created over the past three years

Today, September 22 at the gallery "Cinema" opens a personal exhibition in Moscow artist Ksenia Fominykh "White Bird". Approximately 30 works exhibited at the museum, created in the past three years. All these works are united by a common style and overall mood, and their distinctive design is an integral part of the easel compositions: executed in mixed media, mostly acrylic (with collage addition of other materials), the author's opinion, they required special stained-glass frames.

last ten years Xenia Fominykh worked hard as a monumental decorator, and its stained-glass compositions today adorn the interiors of several private residence outside Moscow. Laborious technique of stained glass, mastered by the artist, in a natural way of monumental works passed into the easel. Chambered plots and themes of her work emphasized the personal tone of the author, seeking to escape from the declarative, high-profile generalizations and pointed sociality.

lives and works in suburban Xenia Fominykh Snegiri in communion with nature , finding harmony in dealing with trees and flowers, animals and birds. They became the protagonists of a new cycle.

Xenia Fominykh works are in private collections in Russia, Spain, France and Switzerland . The first solo exhibition of 18 years (!) The artist was held in Barcelona, then to 1999 have been demonstrations in Russia, Spain and Switzerland, and only in 2010 Xenia Fominykh decided to organize a solo exhibition, in which the combined findings of both the easel, and a monumental creativity. The exhibited works are characterized by high culture with the surface, fluency in collage and stained glass techniques, ability to think big cycle.

This new stage in the creation of Xenia Fominykh certainly important for the author will no doubt be interesting and a wide audience.
