Today, August 7, at the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" (St. Petersburg) begins VIII International festival of experimental art. The festival involved 100 artists from 22 countries.

main focus of the festival - a program of video art. Major names submitted to the Italian videoart: Ben Gayan Maris, a participant of international exhibitions and festivals, winner of Video Festival in Turin, from a philosophical allegory of "Goal"; Alberto Magrini, a participant of international festivals and Biennale, presented in the collections of museums around the world - with the concept video " Concerto; party Venice Biennale Anna Maria Pugleze video "How far do you see?"; Francesca Fini, whose work is marked by the jury of international video festivals, will present two works: "The Mirror" ("Dorian Gray"), which combines painting and video art, and «Cry Me» («X-ray of the soul »).

Besides Italian, presented video art artists Poland, Russia, France, Japan, Britain, Turkey, Latvia, South Korea, Germany, Finland .

The festival will be shown a great program performance:

• interactive audiovisual performance-installation "Interpolation" Lucia Khabibullin (dancer or visitor interpolates its actions in the interactive space on the rules created by the computer system);

• performance "Three Sisters hundred and twenty years later," Marina Konovalova ("letters" to Anton Chekhov, expressed by the language of dance);

• Ane Lan (Norway), with performances Pacto femininum («The art of suffering") and musical performances Sirkel;

• international project "The festival Limits» - Programme Butoh dance performances. Participants: Between Butoh Dance company (Flavia Gizalberti, Ezio Tangini), Theatre OddDance;

• Performance "Shards" (UK) with John Hazelden, Anna Pshenichnikova André Borges (conductor, saxophonist, the owner of more than 10 awards for best film music and the best performance);

• project "Dance Theatre" Monica Koch (Austria) VIS-À-VIS. The project was launched at the Festival of Experimental Art, 2008, stages of the project: United Kingdom, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary. The culmination of the project will be the final show in the "Manage" at the Festival of Experimental Art - 2010: daily joint rehearsal and presentation;

• joint project of the theater: "Plantation" (Moscow ), "Forest House" (St. Petersburg "and" Laboratory Performance "(Yaroslavl);

• performances presented by performers from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, USA, Germany.
