parallel with the "reality test" on Winzavod in the hall "red shop" an exhibition - a dialogue French and Russian artists of different generations "in the present." The exhibition presents the work of ten artists from different generations, each of which succeeds in its history, and not just art history, and each lives in his time, knowledge of which displayed an image of life and mode of action. Considering the various issues - history and memory, and the perceived reality of playing the role and tools of art - they discover new dimensions to the present time.

Curators Dominique Abensur and Ulrike Kremeyer so characterize the position of each Exhibitors:

Yuri Albert first asks : "What makes art and what makes art". His works examine the parameters of art, as well as its methodology, boundaries, and the principal actors in the installations, in the center of which is the spectator himself.

If art should refuse to change the world, it changes the artist himself to the world. Jean-Luc Moulin reverses advertising and marketing stereotypes that define our system of perception and shape our view of images and objects. Peter White to create designs that can give a historical form of consciousness that exists in the present. Installation Christina Solomoukha revising the urban environment, the landscape which was not only a geographical concept, but also social, political, economic.

David Ter-Oganyan proceed to action. In the acute form of his installations and performances defend the position of civil disobedience, protest and resistance inaction. For Nicolas Flock artistic act - a way to penetrate into the sphere of economy, enrich the scope of design, dance, review the legacy of art history.

Others have adopted the search strategy in the everyday. Pascal Pineau believes that there are hidden the most prominent form of art. His polymorphous works based on the discussions about the history of modern and contemporary painting, represent artisanal or mass production techniques. Olga Chernysheva removes the video, photographs, and paints a scene typical of Russian life, capturing the reality of those fragments, which throws the case . Benoit-Marie Mauriceau itself provokes accidents and surprises: his performances are changing perceptions, as usual given us a space which is filled with traps and ridiculous designs. As Victor Alimpiev, it works with microphenomena in painting and minor details of the relationship between people, making them the subjects of their videos. These records are recorded by the group, combined mechanically movement, which, however, opens up the space where the first expression of sincerity and spontaneity.

exhibition will run until Aug. 25, 2010.
