Today in Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery opens exhibition of photos Marc Riboud and Vladimir Lagrange

Marc Riboud (Marc Riboud), the patriarch of French photographer, born in Lyon in 1923. Here he enrolled in high school, made his first photograph. In 1943-1945 Riboud - an active participant in the French Resistance. In 1945-1948 he studied engineering at Ecole Centrale. Between 1951 and became a freelance photographer, and in 1952 went to Paris, where he met Henri Cartier Bresson and Robert Capa and joined the agency Magnum Photos »(Magnum Photos). Vladimir Lagrange was born in 1939 in Moscow. He worked as a photographer in "Photo TASS (1959-1963), the magazines" Soviet Union "(1963-1989) and" Rodina "(1989-1991), the Moscow Bureau of the French Agency" Sipa-Press "(1991-1995). The main work of the Lagrangian belongs to the genre of economic, social and political reportage. Since 1961, he participated in photo exhibitions, photo contest, awarded prizes, awards, diplomas, in 1963 received a gold medal in Budapest in 1965 - a bronze medal in Moscow (VDNH).
