From 23 April to 25 July this year at the museum Shtedelya (Frankfurt am Main) will host a retrospective of the famous German expressionist painter, founder of the group "Most" by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, 1880-1938). The exhibition will feature 170 works-painting, drawing, sculpture, and decorative arts. This is the first for thirty years, a retrospective of the artist's homeland. Symbolically, it is precisely Shtedele, who became the first museums, including in his collection of paintings Kirchner (in 1919). City of Frankfurt also has a special significance in the life of an artist: in 1916 there was one of his first solo exhibitions.
