Yahilevich Michael was born in 1956 in Moscow. Drawing started at 6 years in the workshop of his grandfather - the artist Meer Axelrod (1902-1970). Axelrod gave his grandson a complete creative freedom - at large sheets of gray paper in gouache child portrayed his world - a fabulous and a real city, the seasons, people and animals ... Since 1970 Yahilevich began to learn - first in art school, then at the Institute. Having a specialty theater artist, has designed over 60 performances in twenty cities with thirty directors. Entry into the Union of Artists. He became the chief artist of the theater "At Nikitskie gate. In the midst of Perestroika was in an empty studio: foreigners bought then works by Russian artists.

Thus arose the diptychs, triptychs and polyptych series "40 Years Later": Alia, Battleship, Lake, City ... Save the naivete of children's art, the artist depicted his life. His pictorial language is vivid and inventive. As with any autobiography, the author can not renounce himself today. Yahilevich specifically uses a different technique for fragments written now - in contrast to children they are oil-painted with color bedding, bedding symbolizing life conflicts. In this case, each of these composite tracks looks solid product, accurately and eloquently put together. The works in this series has successfully exhibited in Jerusalem at the exhibition "Lost and Found" (with Haim Sokol , Julia Segal and Adina Rose).
