«My studio - a rectangular room with high ceilings, old wooden floors and a large window overlooking the north. She looks like a small theaters with an empty stage: the space is still to be filled, the time re-invent a scene where everything is possible, where all tricks are allowed, where there are no seasons or days or hours. Here are disappearing boundaries between life and its imitation, between reality and fiction, and, as in any art, is the most shameless lies can turn into a most surprising and fascinating truth. Furniture - unpretentious: two chairs, a rug, a few chairs, two or three lamps and an old blanket - my favorite backdrop. It can be a wall, road, field, sky, night, fear, wind screen ... for dreams. Studio exists not only in this room, it is much broader than just a place of work or tool, is primarily a feeling, a state of mind. Studio anywhere. It is part of myself. I have a very mystical and spiritual approach to photography. I can not explain it, and do not feel this need. I love the mystery and sometimes like to get lost among the unknown. With me it often happens on the path to beauty, when I do not quite understand in what direction to move, and the farther reaches my opinion, the thicker is a mystery. Photography tends beyond reality and illusion. She touches a life, a different dimension, revealing not only what is but what is not. Each picture - this meeting is a personal and mutual confession. I love the long exposure, giving the heart time to show and allow the occasion to speak. My photos always amaze me, they are never the way I conceived them. Each picture comes into the world as a sign of hope. Now too late, very late. All gone, and there was a strange silence. I wander aimlessly in his studio, trying to bring at least some order in their thoughts and environment, but a natural and subtle chaos prevails. I'm wearing a jacket, the carcass of the light and close the door. But what happens to light? Silence ... Darkness - the silence of light ».
