Today at the State Museum of Contemporary Art Russia Academy of Arts (Gogol Boulevard, 10) opened to the public exhibition of Swedish creative association "Ten Photographers" conducted within the framework of the Moscow International Festival "Biennale-2010».
This exhibition is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the unique creative team. In 1958 in Stockholm had the association, express the views of an entire generation of Swedish photographers. The group included Sten Didrik Bellander (1921-2001), Harry Dittmer (1910-2000), Sven Gillseter (1921-2001), Hans Hammarskjöld (born 1925), Rune Hassner (1928-2003), Toure Yunsen (1928-1980 ), Hans Malmberg (1927-1977), Paul-Nils Nilsson (1929-2002), Georg Oddner (1923-2007) and Lennart Olsson (born 1925).
Group Ten Photographers "was organized as an independent agency of the ten participants with head office in Stockholm. They were masters of multilateral and worked in almost all areas of professional photography, making films for television transmission, illustrating and producing the book. They studied the photo, her teaching and writing about it. The exhibition features the artwork of all ten members of association. Belonging to one generation, all they have achieved popularity at home, and four - Dag Hammarskjold, Oddner, Olsson and Hassner - have received worldwide recognition. But just as a group they formed erudition, sensitivity and internationalist outlook of his generation.
The exhibition is open until April 4, 2010. Working hours: Monday - Wednesday and Friday - Sunday: 12.00-20.00, Thursday: 13.00-21.00.
