Anatoly Chechik was born in 1953 in Kiev. In 1976 he graduated from Kiev State Art Institute, the faculty of architecture. Author of several projects implemented. Received the first and third prize in the competition for the reconstruction of Bessarabia Square in Kiev. Member of the Union of Architects in 1980.

in 1978 designed the first show and since then has worked as art director at various theaters of Ukraine. In 1983 - the main artist of the Kyiv City Puppet Theater, from 1984 - production designer and director of the Kiev Academic Theater. Franko. In 1988 he moved to Tbilisi. Since 1992 lives in Moscow. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists. From 2007 to 2009 - Lecturer at the Faculty of scenography Russia Academy of Dramatic Art (GITIS).
