Today Gallery A3 opens exhibition of artists-mosaicists
Today, 28 January, at 18.00 in the gallery A3 (Starokonyushenny Lane., 39) will be the opening of the exhibition artists mosaicists.
Mosaic -- one of the oldest techniques, the artists have resorted to it since the days of antiquity. Experiencing periods of prosperity and decline, together with the great empires of the distant and recent past, the art of artists mosaicists became one of the most vivid embodiments materialized history.
With its own plastic, some "inherent monumentality, mosaic as a special artistic language found its refraction in virtually all significant eras and cultures - from a term of ancient Rome to the Moscow metro, from churches of Ravenna to the fountain by Jean Tinguely.
artists presenting their work at this exhibition, are trying to update the ancient technique of mosaic in contemporary art.
Batalin Alina was born in 1959 in Moscow. Graduated MVHPU in 1983. Exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Works are in the collection of museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
Felix Buch was born in 1948 in Moscow. Graduated drawing classes at MGHPI them. Surikov in 1974. Exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Works are in the collection of museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
Anna Evdokimova was born in 1985 in Moscow. She graduated from the MOE in 2008. Participated in youth fairs.
Zamula Anna was born in 1963 in Moscow. She graduated from the MOE in 1990. Exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
Kornoukhov Alexander was born in 1947. He graduated from the IIP. Corresponding Member of the Russia Academy of Architecture. Exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
Olga Munz was born in 1950 in Moscow. Graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Krupskaya. Exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Works are in the collection of museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
Constantine Yasinovka was born in 1947 in Moscow. Graduated MGZPI in 1990. Exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The monumental works are in Russia and abroad.
exhibition is open to the public from January 29 to February 7. Gallery is open daily, except Mondays and Tuesdays, from 11.00 to 19.00.
