The gallery Photographer.ru an exhibition of Alexander Gronsky "Border". The exhibition includes a new series of photographer, created in 2008-2009.
object of research the author is the very notion of boundaries separating abroad - as speculative and real. This is the boundary between the border regions and the megalopolis, between personal and impersonal space between the living and nonliving, between image and the abstract plane of indentation, one without the other one reflects the other. The central place in modern life is the very concept of separate, fragmented, and each individual person is left to its own - and opposed by the surrounding indifferent cold spaces. Work of a new exhibition Gronsky deliberately placed the viewer in the context of this confrontation, making it part of speech.
Series of works "Border" won the competition Aperture Portfolio Prize - 2009i was chosen International Photographic Magazine FOAM to participate in a special issue of Talent.
