How Do You Do ... Moscow?
Moscow Museum of Modern Art shows Moscow through the eyes of foreigners
Today, August 21, at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Tverskoy Boulevard, 9) opens exhibition How Do You Do ... Moscow? - a photographic and journalistic research in Moscow, seen through the eyes of foreigners.
Charlotte Cova Cauquil (French), Iben Muriel (datchanka), Liz Anderson (Australian) and Manuel Rueda (German) - Four foreigners living in Moscow, decided to find out how other foreigners perceive their lives in this city.
They chose people from different nationalities, professions and social status. Participants photographed in different situations and different parts of the city that characterize their best. They also answered questions that allowed them to express their thoughts and feelings about Moscow.
As a result, got an unusual combination of images and fragments of interviews, presented in a documentary format. Some responses to the eccentric, poetic and humorous tinge were worthy of special mention and exhibited along with photographs.
One of the objectives of the project - to help the two leading charitable organizations in Russia, «elder brother, elder sister» and «Nastenka», and attract the attention of the foreign community to the issue of philanthropy in Russia. To raise money for these charitable organizations, to be organized ×ÅÒÎÉÓÁÖÅ sell posters from an exhibition of selected works of Spanish artist and painted Imoy Montoya ties.

Andrei Terekhov introduce a cardboard model of «Zhigulev», which will make the trade stand. He is also the author cardboard sculpture «Happy Tree». The leaves of the tree - pictures made by students of International School of English, which reflects the child's vision of Moscow.
In the space of the exhibition will be ironical sculpture Chris Rueda What Traffic?, showing the notorious Moscow plugs.
living in Moscow, a British artist Davina Garrido de Miguel will present the work in the style of pop-art, done in mixed media, which illustrates the answers to the question - What better souvenir to buy in Moscow?

Three key words describing the project How Do You Do ... Moscow?, - «funny», «unusual» and «strong». The project has interactive elements that require the active inclusion of spectator in the process. Visitors invited to join the project How Do You Do ... Moscow? and write about life in Moscow on a special wall.
