Yesterday in the Center for the aesthetic education of children and youth «Museyon» An exhibition «Modern sculpture in the estate at Volkhonka», organized by the Pushkin Museum to them. Alexander Pushkin. This project, initiated in 2007 to create a picture of the city and park sculpture today, that is the environment and the plastic arts in the modern sense. The exhibition is for visitors of all ages - both adults and children alike.

The selection of sculpture as an exhibit is not accidental. It formed the basis of the sculpture collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, created by J. Tsvetayeva. Copies and copies of the most famous works of plastic art disclosed the panorama of world art and designed for the upbringing and education of the younger generation. The inclusion of works of modern art in the space of the manor house, was performed in the style of Moscow's empire, arouses the interest of children to the architecture, makes a fascinating journey into the history of Moscow.

In 2009, the exhibition presents works by artists working in the context of urban and natural space. A spectator will be an excellent opportunity to compare the two main trends in contemporary urban sculpture: the classical and avant-garde.

Among the authors of the works - distinguished sculptors of Russia, full member and academics Rah: Mikhail Dronov and Alexander Tsigal, Igor Kozlov, Gadaev Lazarus, Alan Anosov, Sergey Milchenko, George Frangulyan, Leonid Baranov.

Exhibition until 28 October at: Kolymazhny trans., 6, p. 2, on weekdays from 11.00 to 18.00, Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 to 16.00. Weekend day - Monday. Admission free.
