Today, July 2, Corps Benoits Russian Museum opens exhibition of works by Alexander Alexandra Schekatihinoy-Pototskaya (1892-1967).
Alexandra Schekatihina-Pototskaya - one of the brightest figures in the history of Russian porcelain the first half of XX century. On a personal exhibition to be a part of its vast artistic heritage, including more than two hundred pieces of porcelain belonging to the Russian Museum, and performed at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (1918-1923 and 1936-1967), in Cairo and Paris, where the artist lived in 1923 -- 1936 years, as well as paintings, easel graphics, designs sets and costumes for theatrical productions, book illustrations. The Paris and Cairo periods are exhibited for the first time. About 100 paintings and graphics provided by the private collector and Ivangorod Petersburg architectural and art museum.
