Today, the Assumption belfry and Odnostolpnoy Chamber Moscow Kremlin Patriarch Palace opens exhibition «Free imperial city of Augsburg. Centuries of greatness ». This exhibition, bringing together about two hundred outstanding works from the collection of Maximilian, represents the first time a Russian audience of European art treasures of the legendary jeweler capital XVII century - the oldest German city of Augsburg.
During the XVI - XVIII centuries Augsburg set the tone in the architectural style, it was established one of the largest in Europe, the Academy of Fine Arts, opened a unique porcelain and tin mill, and in all areas of decorative art appeared the phenomenon of « Augsburg Baroque ».
