Tretyakov Gallery collection acquired a major piece of contemporary artists Eric Vladimirovich Bulatova “Clouds grow”

Creativity Eric Vladimirovich Bulatova , the world-famous artist-kontseptualista - the most outstanding phenomenon which summarizes the dramatic development of twentieth century art and involves the problem of existence and the fate of the painting in the artistic world of our day.

In 2007, E. Bulatov, at the request of the State Tretyakov Gallery dedicated to the 150 th anniversary of the work created «Clouds growing» (oil on canvas, 200x200).

The State Tretyakov Gallery in 2008, appealed to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with a request to purchase for the gallery picture Bulatova È «Clouds grow». In view of the insufficient budget allocated for the purchase of works of modern art, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation was unable to comply with the request.

In April 2009, the artist has decided to donate a picture, and the Tretyakov Gallery on May 15 signed the relevant documents. May 27, at a meeting of expert committee GTG gift was officially accepted. Now it is possible to conclude that collection of the Tretyakov Gallery acquired a remarkable product of a major artist of our time.
