Today, June 4, the suite of the Museum of Architecture opens exhibition «Russia Andronova», dedicated to the 80-th anniversary of the artist Nikolai Ivanovich Andronova , one of the founders of« severe style »in twentieth-century painting in Russia.

The exhibition at the Museum of Architecture will be presented to the work of Nikolai Andronov different years from the collections of The State Tretyakov Gallery, the family artist and private collections. For the first time will be shown two huge canvases - «Lake. Hunter Family »(1964) and« Rodina »(1978-1980).

Nikolai Ivanovich Andronov was born in Moscow in 1929. From 1948 to 1952 he was a student in St. Petersburg at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
