Yesterday evening, the Engineering Building at the State Tretyakov Gallery (Lavrushinsky trans., 12) opens solo exhibition «One hundred works from Paris» Zurab Tsereteli Konstantinovitch , on the 75-th anniversary of the master.

ZK Tsereteli - author of a number of important monuments and sculptural compositions set out in various countries in Europe, America and Asia, as well as in many cities of Russia. Equal attention to enjoy his works created in other forms of fine art.

Anything that excites the imagination of artists, ranging from the most simple, everyday subjects to reflect on the core values of life, finds its expression in his works. Masterfully holding entire arsenal of fine art, the artist free to move their characters from the space of painting and sculpture in the enamel of the terrain in graphics and painting, etc., creating the author's original and unique world.

Numerous paintings - landscapes, portraits, still lifes, decorative song - captures the powerful elements of color, expression of plastic form, creating a festive, the atmosphere of life. Color and monochrome image lists, bulk enamel with special sonority and bright decorative, mounted sculptural works and bronze reliefs, marked expression of plastic solutions and the ability to organize the compositional space, allow the artist to create a vivid image of the sound and the emotional saturation of work.

The exhibition first presented the work of recent years - painting, drawing, sculpture, bronze reliefs and enamels, set up shop in Paris, the artist or made subsequently to Paris sketches.

In the biography of the creative masters of Paris holds a special place. The amazing atmosphere of the city, meeting with world famous personalities of culture and art, among them Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and others, had a major impact on Z. Tsereteli, and persuaded the creation of many remarkable works on the history and culture of France. Among them - the monuments Honore de Balzac (in Agdal), John Paul II (d. Ploermel), General Charles de Gaulle (Moscow), gallery of images created in various materials and techniques, types and genres of art.
