From 21 April to 3 May in the Central House of Artists exhibition of works by Dmitry Sandzhieva “Myths and the world”, dedicated to the 60 th anniversary of the master

Today, at the Central House of Artists (Halls 22-27) opens exhibition of works by Dmitri Sandzhieva «Myths and the world», dedicated to the 60 th anniversary of the author.

The fate of Dmitri Sandzhieva evolved so that the intertwined nature of his world outlook and the City, East and West. Kalmyks of nationality, he was born and grew up in Siberia. His work absorbed elements of paganism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity ...

For several years, Sanjaya is working on a series of works «Older boards», «small Brothers», «Myths of the world», his last series - «Threads of Destiny». Language of myth is universal. Here and manifest an amazing ability to Dmitry using colors and lines of sight in the short-term eternal, and through the perpetual talk about everyday. People, animals, angels in the works of masters of conditional and still easily recognizable. For him the image - a symbol of reality, while reality itself.

Designer Sanjaya is my original way, every line of his drawings seem perfect plasticity through a combination of open and tight completion. This «sovereignty» lines do not destroy, and collect in a single picture of their power fields. In seeking to convey the spirit of our time with its complex socio-cultural «software» of world culture through the images, the artist satiates their work stock of meanings and associations, not necessarily directly derived from the real value of the plots.

Technique «zastarivaniya», in which paintings are made, due to the very concept artist boldly enter into the past and the future. Time and space for the artist connected to the canvas simultaneously, this is the concept Sandzhieva connect nesoedinimoe, travel in space and time, interpreting the tangible world.
