main curatorial idea is to identify distinct trends in contemporary Russian art. This trend, which has not yet received its name, is creating strange artistic objects stuck between the property of Fine Arts and some unknown (or non-existent in reality) a cult. We know that the vast majority of fine art is connected with the cult, that is subordinated to a religious idea. Beginning with the Egyptian sculptures and ending with the secular paintings. Strangely element «cult» present in the sites of classical avant-garde (you may remember the «black box» , hanged them in the corner as if it were an icon), and the artifacts of modern art.

In other words, the outcast cult back in the art form. The art object is not only a neutral object of contemplation, but also worship. Indeed, some objects of contemporary art did not know of include: whether it is art, whether of unknown beliefs.

The exhibition is trying to identify this trend, to provide its most talented authors and understand the mechanism of this mysterious effect of Worship.

At the exhibition «Mausoleum riot» work by young artists. For most of the authors participated in the exhibition - the debut. They started in a difficult time: the era of unlimited growth (whether economic, informational) was, remained a huge construction site, all besprent unfinished «objects». But long ago there is a suspicion that the building is being recklessly and wantonly and the only natural result of this enterprise - the collapse and disaster. In this nedostroe, these ruins have to live a long time. The ruins of these - a monument to vanity. It is therefore natural that the main intention of the young artist - to try to give at least some sense of the surrounding reality.

As the result we have? Dozens if not hundreds of unfinished projects of various kinds are not designed and not designed ideas and forms, a bunch of social initiatives and institutions that have never been nor will be formed, nor is running.

Do I need to build something, adding yet another construction site, or better to try to deal with the fact that we have?

So there is the idea of works - completion of unfinished meaningful.

In the present circumstances such a luxury we can not afford. Because the main advantage to recognize the existence of an action plan to advance the well-known goal, but it is the return of works of art in art. For the work begins with conception. Continues as a system of well-planned action and ends artifact filled with meaning. And here we are witnessing the revolt, revolt against the new generation of artists and amorphous reckless activism, against all and any initiatives that do not have any of their explicit goals, nor its final, and the endless institutional «Art», generates no one needed a vague «Organization» modern «Horn and hoof» from the famous novel by Ilf and Petrov.

Today, the task of the modern artist is to give meaning and completeness of all the newly rehabilitated in the era of postmodern media. This post, rather than the avant-garde purism, returned back to the practice of art and painting and painting, and the subject - almost all proscribed avant-garde (especially conceptualism) media. But the return would have been ironic, the game - a bit timid, protective joke and even sweepstakes. Now is time for meaningful work with those returning back media.

Young artists feel (know) this task. Therefore, their work was not to thoughtlessly finding some new media (what were the artists in the zero years), whether some unknown new technologies or antihudozhestvennye social action, not their job - it is giving rehabilitated media forms completed works. Of course, the finish looks like it still has a skeleton or frame. In fact, the first step is to identify the main structural axes of a work of art.
