Today in Moscow, Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery opens exhibition «Dialogues in time», which will be presented to the work of Bulgarian artists
The exhibition includes 46 works of Bulgarian artists - about 80 paintings created during the period from the mid-twentieth to the early twenty-first century. Collected in one exhibition, these works convey the spirit of the time show the art search and development trends of Bulgarian art.
The exhibition features paintings of a number of important for the Bulgarian art by artists who began his creative path, both before and after World War II, trained in Munich, Paris, Vienna, and then continued their creative work and during subsequent decades.
This is especially well-known names as Ivan Nenov, Dechko Uzunov, Vera Nedkova, Vasil Barak, Stojan Sotirov, Kirill Petrov, etc. Their work, as well as the plastic art tradition of the Bulgarian 1920's - early 1940's years as the basis for the creation of inspired generations of artists have made their first steps in the art in the 1960's: Svetlina Ruseva, Ivan Kirkovo, Ioan Levieva, Dimitar Kirov, Georgi Bozhilova, Genk Genkova, George Baeva, Alexander Petrov, Magda Abazovoy, Peter Docheva Ivan Vukadinova, Lika Yanko. This generation of back strength and expressiveness of painting, indeed, his canvases, and emphasized the individual creative artists Sixties searches for a long time to decide on the development of Bulgarian art.
