Today, the Center «garage» photo exhibition opens Fetish. On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition will visit Moscow, the authors - the famous filmmaker David Lynch (David Lynch) and the legendary designer Christian Lubuto (Christian Louboutin). Press conference on the opening of the exhibition will be held today at the Center «garage» (St. Obraztsova, 19 A) in 11.30. The exhibition is open to the public from April 9 to May 6.

«David Lynch has asked me to create a collection of shoes for his exhibition in Paris in the fund Cartier. Some of them he used for installations in the cells. In turn, I asked him to do photos with others. David Lynch, no doubt, one of the greatest living filmmakers. All his films are deeply symbolic, they contain a lot of coded messages, so I created a collection of fetish footwear, as this is also the code. Many people perceive the shoes just as the need for comfortable walking. But there are special shoes for racing, for swimming and ... for sex. If we take a wardrobe and look in the object of fetish, it would certainly be a women's shoe. Any, not necessarily on the heel, it has a fragrance Secret totem. This cult appeal to ritual action. I wanted to create not just shoes that you can wear, but, rather, a sculptural object, emphasizing praised most beautiful that exists in the world - bending and lifting women's feet.

David Lynch immediately agreed. Before his eyes appeared inner sofa, pink buds, girl, lamp ... painting has completely drawn in his head.

Photos were made two days in Paris. David is in constant motion vigorously: then move forward to remove the close-up, the moving and focusing on details. He was filled with enthusiastic students and at the same time conscious of spiritual force, like a Jackson Pollock or a Picasso. His photos are beautiful dimension: they reminded me of the Hans Bellmera and Francis Bacon, as well as Giovanni Boldin - in his way to shades of skin color of the body. David often uses in his films such artistic techniques as the shake-free image, long exposure, blurred focus, and in these photographs, we see lines, curves in motion, ready to turn into a flame, but the shoes are always the focus of the lens.

David I was the only one requirement: "No bones." I have chosen as models dancers Crazy Hourse, as an amateur fetishist, for grace, beauty and charming lifting legs. They were my extreme shoes so naturally! Their snow-white skin, dark eyes and lips gleam to fully meet the aesthetic preferences of Lynch, which can be traced some fetish passions: sensual body Isabella Rosselini in "Blue Velvet", a disturbing, dangerous atmosphere on the brink of bloodshed, curtains with straight, broad folds, which seemed to have watched the scene, whose likeness I could find to shoot. Sofa turned to the chair of the Viennese brothel, with the autograph Lossi Adolf (Adolf Loos), it is placed on the carpet with the image of wild, carnivorous flowers. As always, David Lynch, the population space and the scenery a lot of shadows ».
