Today, Gallery Photographer.ru opens exhibition «Opening the world of images», which presents works by the winners and finalists of the World Competition Photos «Sonia» 2008. The exhibition is part of a global tour, which started at the Center BOZAR Fine Arts in Brussels in June last year.
Collection of the best photos were selected by the World Academy of photos, which today has about 100 leading masters of the world's photographic community. Sampling was carried out from more than 70 thousand of works submitted for the contest from 178 countries.
During the year, a traveling exhibition «World Opening images» visit Belgium, Cologne, Tokyo, Delhi, New York, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Melbourne and Moscow. Will complete its exhibition in April this year at Cannes, where the work will be exhibited during the week of the festival photos, and a rewarding winners - 2009.
