This evening in the gallery pop /off /art exhibition opens Tatarintseva «Part and whole», which will be presented paintings and sculptures of the author.

This is the first personal show of gallery artists in pop /off /art. Olga Tatarintseva rightfully be considered one of the leading artists working in the tradition of minimalist art. Her works are in collections of major museums of contemporary art and private collections around the world. The uniqueness of its position in the Moscow art scene due to the fact that ceramics - the basic material with which the artist works - not taken place in the local context of contemporary art. Tatarintseva breaks stereotypes by the fact of its multi-year activities. Its very simple in form, but the multi-dimensional in content and extremely difficult for the execution of the objects (the creation of some of them took up to one year) are in dialogue with the tradition of the art world, that appeal to modernism - from the Russian avant-garde to the latest postminimalistskoy sculptures from PROUNI El Lisitsky to «shelf» Donald Judd and polychrome forms Anisha Kapoor.
