Ukrainian billionaire and owner of Victor Pinchuk Foundation has recently opened its gallery in Kiev PinchukArtCentre the largest exhibition of contemporary Russian art in Ukraine. It is called «21 Russia» and represents the work of twenty-one artist created over the past eight years. In the exhibition includes works by artists not only from Moscow, but also other cities of Russia: St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod. The exhibit, consisting of a large-scale projects, paintings and installations, consciously built on the principle of comparing or contrast - the young artists presented a number of very well-known authors and new works together with the already proven and shown at various international forums works. An important feature that characterizes the project is perceived supervisory position - to present contemporary art of Russia as a complex knot of conflicts: napravlencheskih, generation, media, case ...
