The museum of modern art ART4.RU an exhibition of finalists «You're an artist!»

Exhibition finalists «You're an artist!» is taking place now in the museum of modern art ART4.RU.

«You're an artist!» - is an annual prize in contemporary art, founded by Igor Markin, founder ART4.RU, in 2007. This year's Competition was held from 1 to 28 November traditionally at LiveJournal.com in Community ART4.RU and Museum website . Within a month, it was more than 4 000 works from more than 1 500 authors from all over Russia, as well as from abroad.

exhibition at the Museum - this is the final part of the project for the 15 artists selected by jury. Further, by open vote directly at the Museum and the site art4.ru audience will be selected by the winner of the holder of three cash prizes. Recall that the premium amount to 50 000 rubles for 1 st place 30 000 rubles - 2 nd place 20 000 rubles for 3rd place.

in the competition «You - artist» also involved young artists presented by curator group CSR project Winery «Home». One of his goals is to involve artists in the exhibition activities. Therefore, the Center for Contemporary Art announces a special prize sympathy Winery, which has a chance to receive any author, regardless of the outcome of the voting public. The winner will receive a personal exhibition in the framework of support for young artists «Home».

December 19, will be held at the Museum ART4.RU «Ball of Artists», which will be declared winners. Prizes will hand over to famous artists and art-makers in Moscow.

Exhibition of finalists and the ball - this is the last event ART4.RU and, alas, not only this year. C 1 January 2009 the Museum is moving to the European format of the private museum and will work one day a week, on Fridays from 11 to 20 hours.
