From 3 to 13 December in Moscow Central House of Artists will host exhibition of paintings by Russian artists of the Union, which was restored in this year's group of artists-realists with the active assistance of the Russian Art Gallery. The Union of Russian artists came in the early twentieth century, and existed from 1903 to 1923. He became one of the largest art societies, left the bright trace in the history of Russian painting, and in many ways defined the artistic life of the country.

Like a hundred years ago, the Union parties are not united on the basis of ethnicity, but on the basis of ideological commitment of the Russian realist school of painting, preservation and continuation of which is the main purpose of the organization.

The relationship between members of the Union of Russian artists settled principles of equality and freedom of expression. Participation in the merger does not imply a ban on the creative and financial relationship with other art associations, galleries. Alliance Program provides for annual reporting exhibition in Moscow and quarterly exhibitions in the regions.

In the first exhibition of the newly established Union of Russian artists are participating 29 artists. For the creativity of each of them characterized by an appeal to the culture, history and traditions of Russian people, a sense of national pride and self-esteem, the desire to assert in the art of beautiful, positive.

Official opening of the exhibition «The Union of Russian Artists. New Era »will be held on 5 December at the Central House of Artists (18:00, Hall 17), admission free.
