7 November 2008 in the halls of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan) will open exhibition «Arkhip I. Kuindzhi» from the Russian Museum

7 November 2008 in the halls of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan) in the framework of a comprehensive federal program «Russia» Exhibition opens « Arkhip I. Kuindzhi » from the Russian Museum, as well as the 40 th informational and educational center «Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch».

The exhibition «Arkhip I. Kuindzhi» joined more than 80 paintings from the collections of Russian museums, which provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the oeuvre of an outstanding master of landscape and trace its path of forty in the art. The exhibition features such renowned masterpieces of Russian painting, as «Moonlight Night on the Dnieper», «A Night in the Ukraine», «Autumn», «Clouds», «Stains moonbeam in a forest. Winter »,« Oaks »,« Sunset in the steppes by the sea », etc. The first exhibition of such structure will be outside of St. Petersburg.

Information and Education Center «Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch» is an integral part of the program «Russia», as if this alone projects. It is designed on the basis of scientific, educational and methodical development of leading museum professionals, the quality of multimedia programs is ensured by the use of advanced computer technologies. The project provides a real opportunity to get acquainted with the thousand-year history of Russian art, presented in the Russian Museum, and is aimed at creating a unified network of information and educational centers in cities of Russia, as well as abroad.
