Exhibition Nikolai Melnikov hotel «Marco Polo Presnya»
Exhibition of paintings by Nicholas Maximovich Melnikova (1916-1996) is held in the hotel «Marco Polo Presnya» (Spiridonyevsky Lane ., 9).
Nikolai Melnikov was the Great Patriotic War in troops, has been awarded numerous medals and honors (including the Order of Patriotic War I degree), and, despite a serious injury, managed to do incredibly much. A concentration of creativity and having a happy performance, it is a rare day spent at the easel. From under his hand left over two thousand works of art. In 1969 he became a member of the Union of Artists of USSR and Russia and participated in numerous exhibitions. Throughout his artistic career he traveled to visit artists in Gurzuf, Hot Key and Academic giving in Vyšné Volochek.
Paintings Nikolay Maximovich continuing a remarkable tradition of Russian landscape and still life. The heart of his work can be defined as a true Russian, a realistic attitude to nature, to the subject and, at the same time, attention to the feelings of a living man, his moral-philosophical reflection on the integrity and value of life.
The exhibition will run until November 30 at Spiridonyevsky Lane, 9. Entrance - free of charge.
