Today PRIMA Art Gallery opens exhibition of the Distinguished Artist of Russia Sergei Alexandrovich Gavrilyachenko «Fatherland and will», prepared under Project «Romantics realism». The exhibition presents over 50 paintings from the collection of galleries and artist's studio. The title of the exhibition refers to the history and culture of Russian Cossacks - the main theme of the artist.

Externally restrained in its expression of the tragic cycle of small historic paintings by Sergei Gavrilyachenko working life devoted to peace, the military respectability and fire disaster in the Civil War, the old southern Cossacks - Free class fled from serfdom citizens who become the guardians of voluntary borders Russia.

Cossacks sacredly preserved for centuries in his life, strict ethical and cultural code of honor and service to the Fatherland. The exhibition will be held from 10 October to 26 November 2008 in the Art Gallery of PRIMA (Chistoprudny boulevard, 14 /3, entrance into the courtyard of the «Marine Aquarium», on the stairs with glass railings). Gallery Hours: weekdays from 12:00 to 19:00.
