The exhibition «Special children - special view of the World» submitted drawings, which created the children with autism

The State Darwin Museum hosts exhibition «Special children - special look at the world». The paintings included in the exhibition, painted by children of different age, character and temperament. They are united by one thing - autism - the inability to communicate, isolation from the outside world, immersed in himself.

Creation of these children can be attributed to the «autsayderskomu» art, the art of outsiders. None of them did not specifically studied drawing and does not consider himself an artist. These pictures not only depict the external world, but rather reflect the inner world of their creators, their particular perception of life. They do not know how to draw «on demand» or on a topic, given from the outside. Paint them all the same that breathe or move. And because they work surprisingly sincere and harmonious.

Living in such people is very easy. They often seem strange, incomprehensible, sometimes daunting, but because not only creative but also in life remain outsiders. And in our power to ensure that they are no longer strangers. This is not only them but us.

The exhibition will run until October 19, 2008.
