Golubkina, Konenkov. Secrets Excellence
exhibition installation, which opens today in the State Tretyakov Gallery, is an artistic reconstruction of the two workshops of famous sculptors early twentieth century, friends and associates - A . Golubkina S. and ST Konenkova . The atmosphere is created with the use of studio art and real historical exhibits. The exhibition demonstrates the creative laboratory of the masters, their incomplete, «failed» works, as well as phases of work on some images, a variety of sculptural materials, technical tools. Much of the first funds came from the museum in the exhibition where there will be side by side with famous works. The exhibition includes a number of archival photographs.
The exhibition will be open from 20 September 2008, prior to 31 January 2009 at the Museum Workshop A. Golubkina (B. Levshinsky пер., 12, main entrance).
