From 2008 to 2010, Leipzig Museum of Contemporary Art (Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig - GfZK) will work in the new project> Carte Blanche <. Eleven private collectors and companies that have corporate art collections, have a unique opportunity to exhibit works from their collections in the halls of Leipzig Museum. In doing so, all expenses paid by companies or entrepreneurs, but in return the museum gives them complete freedom of choice of products and concepts exhibits.

From 30 August to 26 October in GfZK works from his collection are the wife Brigitte and Arend Otker (Brigitte and Arend Oetker). Brigitte Otker has long been involved in various projects in the sphere of culture and art, including those overseen by the exhibition. Arend Otker mainly engaged in entrepreneurial activities. However, in addition to work in the economic and political organizations, he also holds the position of vice-chairman of the Cultural Foundation in the conversion of «German Business». In 1990 he, along with Klaus Werner (Klaus Werner) founded the Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig until 2002, remained one of the partners. Now he is chairman of the Chief Executives Board GfZK.

The collection includes Otker spouse works of the first half of the twentieth century, including Max Beckman (Max Beckmann), Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (Ernst Ludwig Kirchner), Paula Moderzon-Becker (Paula Modersohn-Becker) and Max Ernst (Max Ernst). In addition, the collection has works by George Gross (George Grosz) and Otto Dix (Otto Dix) - Representatives of flow «New Veschnost» (Neue Sachlichkeit), which existed in Germany in 1920 years, and the Swiss Velfli Adolf (Adolf Wölfli), whose name well known to fans of sending al-brut.
