Art project «12 good work» is devoted to the image of George, who represents the victory of goodness and embodies the ultimate triumph of justice. St. George the Victorious was one of the Christian saints, accepted martyrdom in the name of faith, and that the victim was the highest symbol of spiritual victory. The last century, but the world is not fundamentally changed, and modern man is facing the same eternal choice between good and evil. Face of St. George and given him a life-path as the eternal and unchanging reference point.

The conceptual part of the project «12 good work» was brought to work on the subject of famous painters, working in different styles and directions. Gathered in one project, these works offer a 12 reads the copyright, which, like faces, make up a coherent and majestic image of a Christian saint.

The exhibition includes works of different styles: from primitive to classical, from impressionism to abstraction. Visitors can experience the compassion, along with such artists as Katja Medvedev , Люся Voronova , Anatoly Stepanovich Slepyshev" mole-rat , Golitsyna Clara , Elena Barsukova, Irina and Valery Nagy, Pavlos Arzumanidis, Irina Vereschagin, Lyudmila Vasilyeva, Peter Kozorezenko Victor Burtas, Sergei Eloy.

Project «12 good works» supported by the creative union of artists of Russia, the Russian Academy of Arts, and clergy. The artists have set moderate prices for their works. The proceeds from the sale of paintings funds will be made available to Meschovskogo Holy Georgievsk monastery for the restoration of unique architectural complex of the monastery, as well as funding for children's creative center of the city Meschovska (Kaluga region).

Sold Project «12 good work» to be replaced by new products. However, the subject, size and number of jobs will remain unchanged. In a sense it is infinite.

Exhibition «12 good work» to be held in Room number 27 of the Central House of Artists from 5 August to 11 September 2008 (Krymsky val, 10).
