Rodchenko is considered one of the leaders of Russian avant-garde, the founder of constructivism. Avant-garde photographer and artist, Rodchenko - one of the rare examples of Russian artist, a well-known and popular in the West. He is especially popular in Germany where the promotion of his works is, in particular, Alex Lahmann (by the way, Rodchenko photographs from his collection can be seen now on the exhibition «Time to collect» in Tsaritsyno ).

The exhibition in Berlin, the focus is on photographs Rodchenko on the new Soviet reality. The artist was known for his commitment to socialist views, but has fallen from grace in the new government.
