Exhibition «Futurism - Radical Revolution. Italy - Russia », devoted to a century anniversary of one of the most significant trends in the art of the twentieth century, starting June 17 at the Pushkin Museum Pushkin.

According to the organizers of the exhibition, which consists of two parts - the Italian and Russian, presents about 300 works created by the greatest masters of the new direction: Balla, Severini, Bochchoni, Larionov, Goncharova, Mayakovskaya.

Italian section built as a new art publication manifests and reveals how the programs in different fields of art, including music and architecture.

Russian part of the exhibition presents original version of Russian futurism, in many ways the opposite of Italian aesthetics.

Organizers have promised that it would be demonstrated not only painting, but a futuristic cultural background, including theater and a book.

specifically for this exhibition, a traditional museum space will be «destroyed» by becoming one of the most dramatic trends in the art. For example, the marble walls on the sides of the famous stairway veil fragments paintings Futurists.

Exposition «Futurism - Radical Revolution. Italy - Russia »is prepared jointly with the Italian Museum of Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto. The project also involved more than 30 museums and collectors from different countries.
