May 27, in the Gallery of Arts, Zurab Tsereteli, who is also the Museum and exhibition complex of the Russian Academy of Arts, opens exhibition of paintings and graphics from the collection of historical, architectural and art museum «New Jerusalem». Exhibition of Painting and Drawing from the museum «New Jerusalem» represents a collection that is evolved since 1977 and included works by masters of the unofficial art. Viewers learn about the little-known works of such celebrated artists as Alexander Osmerkin, R. Falk, A. Fonvizin, A. Shevchenko.

One of the most interesting sections of the exhibition of works by artists who started his creative path in the atmosphere of the first post-recovery years, but in 30 years released from the formal artistic process and seeking to find a beautifully-plastic, claiming the right to an internal world rights. It works by L. Zhegin, an active member of the «Makovets», his followers T. Alexandrova, V. Pestel, works by «thirties» - R. Bartho, L. Soloviev, Boris Oks, M. Sokolova, V. Milashevskogo.

On display are a reflection of the complexity and drama of the time, Moscow scenery N. varnishes - pupil Alexander Rodchenko, portraits VHUTEMASovtsev A. Pomanskogo and O. Sokolova, works by D. Most valuable section of the collection is the collection of paintings by Alexander Volkov and his artistic dynasty, the works of B. Chernysheva, E. Kravchenko. The Art of the second half of the twentieth century works by recognized masters - A. Slepysheva, N. Andronov, V. Kalinin, M. Nesterova, I. Starzhenetskoy, M. Elkonina, I. Kupryashina, V. Вейсберга, A. Grositskogo and insufficiently known to a wide audience - E. Vladimirova, A. Gromov, D. Terekhova, V. Ratner, Pavlova. Among the discoveries of recent decades - the work of such artists as V. hood, IV Yudin, A. Lang, M. Kulagina, V. Manokhin, L. Markelova, M. Mitlyanskaya, N. Nasedkin, Popov, N. Shapkin -- Korchuganova and others. Stylistically diverse - from abstract art and primitive to the principle figurativa - their creativity, and art «thirties», asserts the eternal enduring values.

The exhibition will last until 27.07.2008.
