The exposition, organized by «Russian art gallery», included more than a hundred works, showing, as stated in a press release, «an example of genre painting in the continuity of generations of Russian realistic painting».
The exhibition will show previously unknown work of Arcadia Plastov kept from the heirs of the artist. Organizers announced the establishment of an annual award named Plastov, monetary value of which amounted to 5 000 dollars, and called the laureate «Russian art gallery» (3 000 USD).
first exhibition «Great communication time» was «Russian art gallery» in 2007 and received wide attention. Every third work presented at the exhibition, was later sold at auction «Russian conversation» 22 May 2007.
The exhibition will be presented to the book «The Brothers Tkatchev. The fact that in the memory ». The publication is timed to the planned September opening of the museum of Aleksei and Sergei Tkachev at their home in Bryansk.
The exhibition will last until 5 May 2008.
