ARS LONGA Gallery in conjunction with the International Confederation of Unions of Artists has organized an exhibition of the People's Artist of Russia, Full Member of Russian Academy of Arts, State Prize Laureate, Professor Sergei Alexandrovich Alimova dedicated to the 70 anniversary of his birth.

Sergei Alimov grew up in artistic family: his father and uncle - architects, mother, brother and grandfather - artists (his grandfather studied with Valentin Serov, AN Kasatkin, L. Alimov, yielded the best known of his sketches to the famous «vacation Bonifacio», «Vyatka horse», «wise minnow» and other cartoons, which loves and remembers more than one generation of viewers.

At the exhibition, which opens on April 26, presented sketches to the unfulfilled cartoon «The Master and Margarita». This is not the only work Alimova, which is not known to the public.
