July 25 auction house "Russian enamel" will present a collection of 350 lots of rare books, autographs, photographs, posters, postcards, historical papers and maps totaling over 15 000 000
Among the most notable book lots of the auction collection, you can find a book of poems by Mikhail Lermontov (1842-1844), arising from the collection of Baroness Natalia Dmitrievna Steinheim and subsequently donated it to the library Life-Гвардии Grodno hussars regiment, where a platoon commander and served as the poet himself — cornet Mikhail Lermontov.
In the collection of the auction there are some interesting autographs — for example, the book of Alexander Blok's "Night watch" with the autograph addressed to the personal therapist of Lenin Sergei Martemyanovich Dobrogaev. No less interesting is the document associated with the activities of the House of writers, autographed by Alexander Blok, N. Gumilev, A. Remizov and 15 writers, poets and journalists (of dates. January 15, 1921). In the auction catalogue are many inscripted gifts and inscriptions of famous writers and political figures — e.g., I. Bunin, A. Akhmatova, M. Gorky, A. Denikin, V. Komissarzhevskaya, V. Kachalov, F. Chaliapin, Yu. Mamleeva, M. Bakhtin, I. Brodsky, D. Prigov, I. Kholina, L. Brezhnev, M. Gorbachev and others.
Among the many rare books of the Russian avant-garde allocated instance of A. Kruchenykh in collector's condition "Varnished tricot" (Usgi A. Kruchenykh, supremachine Terentyev. Tbilisi: Publishing House "41°", 1919). One of the surviving copies of this book located in the Museum of modern art in new-Йорке (MOMA). A copy of the publication was presented at the exhibition "Iliazd & Picasso. Pages of life and creativity", held from April 5 to June 23, 2019 in the exhibition halls of the Picasso Foundation in Malaga (Spain). Not less rare and "inveterate bibliophile rarity" — book D. Moore's "Alphabet of the red army" (1921), a copy with an inscription from the artist's daughter: "In memory of, in memory of D. S. Moore. Moore."
