8 February 2018 the auction house "Russian enamel" invites everyone who cares about the old book. On this day, held an auction number 110, which will be offered the rare books, autographs, manuscripts and photographs
the Auction starts with a section of rare books of the XVIII century, at the beginning of which will be exposed to the book "the Life and deeds of Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Caesar Roman" 1740 (lot 2), translated from German by the Secretary of the Academy of Sciences Sergei Volchkov; this is the first edition of Marcus Aurelius in Russian.
In 1770 in Saint-Петербурге saw the light of the Russian translation of the book "the Ottoman state in Europe and the Republic of Ragussa" (lot 5). The original text belongs to Anton Friedrich Bushing, the famous German teacher, theologian, and geographer.
"Featr emergency proisshestvii istockaudio century..." (lot 19) — lifetime edition translator and writer ostrohirs'ke Pavel Petrovich (1764-1834), the last and important of his works. Of the fifteen stories that comprise the book, the twelve was undoubtedly translated from German; they talk about real events that happened in Germany, France and Austria. Contemporaries made the book for an obscene collection of stories, which provided her a lot of success, but the true promise of it was to expose the vices of the Catholic Church. Further, the author chose to devote himself to teaching.
Especially for fans of the poetry of contemporaries of A. S. Pushkin "In the Nikita" offers the first lifetime edition of the famous lyric poet of the XIX century Ivan Kozlov (lot 66) and two volumes of ballads of his literary mentor Vasily Zhukovsky, published in 1831 (lot 67).
Continues the catalogue of the first translations into Russian language and the last lifetime edition of "Kobzar" of Taras Shevchenko (lot 98), published in 1860. It includes translations of L. Mey, A. pleshcheeva, H. Kurochkin, and others.
"Belovezhskaya Pushcha..." G. kartsov (lot 188) was issued in 1903, a small circulation and sale has not been received. A magnificent edition illustrated by M. A. Zichy, K. J. Criticim, Vladimir Nawozowe, N. S. Samokish, R. F., Frenz, A. S. Khrenov and photographic images Dalmatova A. D., A. A. Galla, Ghana (Tsarskoe Selo), Karasik (Grenoble) and G. P. kartsov.
Section of children's books presented, in particular, the first, 1930 edition of the book of J. Miller [Nikolay Zabolotsky] "How we beat Yudenich" with illustrations by Tatiana Glebova (lot 295).
In the section of autographs submitted a letter to Marina Tsvetayeva to Anatoly Steiger (lot 361), the book "Heart in a glove" by K. A. Bolshakova with illustrations by N. Goncharova and autograph of the author, the Director S. M. Vermelho (lot 356), autograph N. Nekrasov "Dear Lida..." a poetical collection (lot 349), letter to K. K. Sluchevsky, L. N. Mikova (lot 350), photo E. at the monument of the Unknown N. Sergei Khrushchev autographed sculptor (lot 483).
