November 23 auction house "Russian enamel" will hold with "Expedition" a joint auction. The event will be held in the restaurant of the Russian North "Expedition" Singing in the alley

the auction will be exhibited rare maps, books, documents associated with the geographical discoveries of famous travellers, cities and regions, the overseas countries, which at different times visited our great explorers and discoverers.

Among the lots — antique guide books, souvenir albums, topographical descriptions and atlases, materials on the history of cities such as St.-Петербург, Moscow, Uglich, Arkhangelsk, Vladimir, Pyatigorsk, cities of the Amur region, Kazan, the little Russian, the Yenisei and other provinces and the countries of the West and East (Italy, England, America, Mongolia, China).

of Particular interest are the rare "Notes Military-топографического depot" (P. 1-10. SPb., 1837-1847), published by the Supreme Majesty to the command of the Director thereof, the depot General-лейтенантом Schubert. The notes were printed in limited editions and contain information about the topography of the different provinces of the Russian Empire.

Great value has the rare "a brief history of the city of Arkhangelsk", composed of Arkhangelsk citizen vasilem by Krestinina, published in St.-Петербурге in 1792, and censorship copy of the book "History of ancient Aziatskih and African kingdoms", composed by Alexander Vetoshnikova and published in 1833. Future geographers, and just curious readers will be exciting to get acquainted with the "Way to teach yourself geography" (Moscow, 1798). Edition illustrated with engraved maps and pictures.

the catalogue also includes a book by M. I. Pylyaev 1903 "Old Petersburg. Stories of a bygone life of the capital" with 122 engravings. The third edition of the A. S. suvorina, printed on thick paper, dressed in a luxurious half-back era.

No less valuable four detailed engraved map of the Russian Empire, published in Berlin in the early nineteenth century and are housed in the elegant case of the era with a label, and a large world table Atlas A. F. Marksa, 1905, consisting of 62 main and additional cards 148 53 tables in folio.

On a trip to China, as written by organizers, can inspire a book "China as it is. Life and politics" L. V. Arnoldova (Shanghai, 1933), and the walk around the Northern capital and its environs will be a useful "Guide to Peterhof" in 1909.
