Auction house "KABINETT" holds 25 October 2017, the first specialized auction of Russian art in Berlin. In the directory — 300 lots

the Specialization of the auction house — Russian art of XIX–XX centuries, rare books, medals, items of Russian history, Western European art, contemporary art.

On the first auction house displays a collection of theatrical "paper", which briefly could be called "Diaghilev orall Russian seasons": theater programs, magazines, exhibition catalogs, books, photographs. The catalogue begins with the first, even before the Russian seasons, art exhibitions, 1906, organized by the brilliant Russian impresario Sergei Diaghilev in the halls of the Paris Autumn salon, and ends with a selection of exhibition catalogues and books 1960-80-х years, dedicated to the memory of Diaghilev and the history of the Russian seasons.

the Catalog contains 300 lots. Together it is almost full, day after day, "paper" annals of music theatre in Europe of the twentieth century. Sergei Diaghilev managed to unite around themselves and their projects in almost all the figures of Russian art abroad, and several dozens of prominent European artists. Together, these publications represent an inexhaustible source of information for researchers and fans of the theatre. In projects Diaghilev was attended by representatives of "World of art" Alexander Benois, Konstantin Korovin, Leon Bakst, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, future avant-gardists Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova, as well as dozens of European artists — Ernst Lissner, Malvina Hoffman, Giorgio de Chirico, Marie laurencin, Georges Braque, Maurice Utrillo, Pablo Picasso, Pedro prune back, Ernst stern, and many others. And technical possibilities of the twentieth century and organizational skills Diaghilev and his followers turned a regular theater performances of the masterpieces of the printing art. And allowed to play and store an infinite number of persons and thousands of images of scenery, costumes, sketches.

Presented at auction edition — theater programs, editions of the almanac Comœdia Illustré and other theatrical journals, albums and books illustrated with a huge number of works by these artists as well as photographs of famous dancers of the ballet — Vaslav Nijinsky, Anna Pavlova, IDA Rubinstein, Leonid myasina. Tamara Karsavina, and others.

the Collection comes from a private European collection.
